Carbine LB3 Residential Deadbolt – Adjustable 60/70mm Backset

The Carbine LB3 is a residential deadbolt with an adjustable 60/70mm backset, available in single-cylinder and double-cylinder configurations across Matte Black and Satin Nickel finishes.

Single Cylinder deadbolts are operated by key from the outside and a thumb-turn from the inside. They are the most common residential choice and suit doors where quick egress is a priority — such as front and back doors in homes. The thumb-turn allows occupants to exit without a key.

Double Cylinder deadbolts require a key on both sides. They are typically used where glass panels adjacent to the lock could allow an intruder to reach in and operate a thumb-turn — for example, doors with sidelights. Important: double-cylinder locks may impede egress in an emergency. Always confirm the applicable building code and egress requirements in your state or territory before installing a double-cylinder deadbolt. Not every configuration suits every door or application.
